Taipei 6D5N with 13mo infant - Day 5/6

Today is our final day we could spent in Taipei. So we do cafe hopping in the day time and then dinner with our tw friends before we head back tomorrow.

Our first cafe is Aranzi cafe. Its located inside a mall with very cute characters representing each drinks and cakes.

This is where lil pumpkin had her very first ever taste of a real cake! She only allowed to have my homemade cake all the while. Since it was holiday trip for us, I thought I can let her try something new and let her gain some happy "memories" since her favourite thing to do is "eat" hehe!

She loves her cake so much she almost finish the whole piece. Which was fruits. cream and spongecake.

I almost very regret letting lil pumpkin to have some cakes earlier on, as when we go into the next cafe, she started to scream and ask for everything on the table, which of cos i didnt let her. so we end up swallow our waffles and coffee and carry her out of the cafe and back to the hotel for some quiet time. Since we had appointment with our friends for dinner later on, so we took some rest in the room before we go out.

Nash(our tw friend) brought us to a very nice restaurant for dinner. They call it 热抄 in taiwan. All the dishes are so yummy!!

Before Nash sent us back to our hotel, he brought us to stop by at the nearest 50 lan shop and let me indulge GAO GAO before we head back to KK tomorrow. Guess whats inside the yellow bag beside my milky tea? It's JY's favourite stinky tofu!! hehehe!

Taipei 6D5N with 13mo infant - Day 4

We had a very short day today. Wanted to visit Coffee Alley but it was so pack and fully booked till dinner time. So we went into a newly opened cafe. Had a few desserts and just stroll around 东区。 

We had dinner at this shabu shabu restaurant. It's a eat all you can buffet! 

Eat all you can aus/us beef and pork and chicken.

Guess who came down to Taipei to meet us? Yes Gary!! He is 爱玩客沙巴之旅 special guest for KK's episode. He is Gary Chang 張雲堯!! 

So happy that we finally meet again after 3 years!!

Taipei 6D5N with 13mo infant - Day 3

Start our day with free and easy tone today. The weather wasnt so good so we decided changed our Jiufen trip to Dan Shui/Fisherman Wharf. By the time we reached Danchui it was so windy and cold. We were once reconsidering whether to visit Fisherman Wharf as it was too windy. After a hot steamy brunch at a Ramen restaurant and after a lil warm up in a heated mall. We decided to have a go for it!! So glad that we did as the scenery was so beautiful and we took quite alot of pretty photos there! ;)

After a long walk at Danshui, we had our dinner at Hello Kitty Cafe to celebrate my birthday today. The food is quite nice despite the concept of the cafe. As I know most concept cafe would have bad yucky food but no, this is not happening here. It was not too bad if you were not expecting fine dine quality. We had a good time there.

I was given a F.O.C birthday cake because its my birthday on that day. You just have to show them your passport to get the cake. ;)

Celebrating my 2nd birthday as a family. Lil pumpkin was just a month old last year and today she can sit by herself and take photos with me already. Next year I'll be hearing her greeting me Happy Birthday! =D

Taipei 6D5N with 13mo infant - Day 2

Day 2

Since we had a long day on day 1. We decided to rest longer and start our day later. We woke up at around 10am in the morning. After getting ready lil pumpkin and all, we had our breakfast at 11am in a restaurant near our hotel.

After we had our brunch. We went into the petshop which is just opposite our hotel. According to the shop owner, this is the only 24hrs petshop in taipei city. This super huge poodle is so pretty!!

 

 We were so lucky that there is this paper panda exhibition during our visit in taipei. But it was raining on the day we visited so all these little paper panda was covered in plastic. 

 101 Taipei again for the 3rd time for me. =D it was too windy that day we couldnt go out to the top of it.

MOS Burger! Aarrrgghh... missing this beef rice burger so much now~!

After shop around at 101, me and lil pumpkin went back to hotel to rest. JY, Sam and Janice continue their explore to Shilin Market.
